The Inner Path Guides You Home

The inner suffering within you slowly manifests over many years in clock time. You smile and you laugh day by day. But, the hidden tears and hurting are obvious due to the inner torment that restricts you. Nevertheless, it is possible for you to discover clarity and even ongoing bliss. Simple conscious awareness is the way to inner serenity. However, you will not find any logic, explanations, silence or calmness in the world around you. Therefore, always gaze within the self to the presence of being. Everything is within you. And, everything manifests outward. How you observe yourself in this life is essential to the process of awakening to aware presence.

inner

Nothing of this world can give you ongoing fulfillment and tranquility. However, conscious awareness unbinds these virtues that originate from the universe within you. Still, you are withdrawn. And, this is understandable because you live solely from the mind. Hopefully, and likely, the anguish you experience day to day will fade. The difficult situations suddenly will become new stepping stones to enlightenment on your inner path. Thus, focus on the realization that your difficulties and confusion result from mind conclusions during your unconscious state of being. Accordingly, the mind imposes the illusions of misery and despair when you are unaware.

yellow brick road

The Yellow Brick Road Is a Journey of Illusions

Most people know the story of The Wizard of Oz. Dorothy begins an incredible journey to find her way back home. This path in her life was on yellow brick road of enchantment. Doesn’t this sound familiar? The journey symbolizes a personal and collective conditioning that insists everyone has a path to follow. We have probably all said or heard the following sentences. I need to find my path in life. When speaking about others we say. They still have not found their path in life.

yellow

Furthermore, it is also typical to speak with our children about finding their way in life. Thus, we dictate to our children. Here is an example. You are still lost. You have not yet found your path in life. But, the ramifications of this statement often have a profound and damaging effect on our children. Nevertheless, parents constantly evaluate and criticize their children and the very behavior that they taught them. Continue reading

Anchor Away It Is Smooth Sailing Ahead

Be truthful to yourself. You often feel a sensation of disorientation relating to how you live life. Thus, you feel confusion. Nevertheless, you still acknowledge an openness and clarity originating from the depth and core of your being. This spaciousness within you is calm and soothing. Your well-being and long-lasting bliss seem so close in such a moment of conscious presence. However, it seems there is always something that prevents you from remaining in the awareness of an unconditional beingness. There is always a thought, emotion, person or situation that interferes and distracts you. A weight grips you tightly and holds you in the shadows of the mind. And, this weight is an anchor that restricts you from moving forward into the light of conscious awareness.

anchor

Anchor the Self Within the Presence of Being

The weight of the minds anchor increases throughout life. The burden of this anchor consists of thoughts, emotions, assumptions, labels and even beliefs. But, all of which are only phantoms and thus, illusions of the mind. However, evolution, social development and these repetitive unconscious behavior patterns result in a conditional mind. So, the mind fools you.

Still, you desire conscious enlightenment within the flow of life. Therefore, realize that living life is similar to sailing a boat. And, a well-trimmed sailboat with minimal cargo onboard gives you the opportunity to sail almost anywhere. (Conscious presence without mind detail baggage.) Similarly, the beingness of your person sails best within a virtual domain of unconditional possibilities. Thus, the focus of your presence of being determines how and where you glide within the flow of life. On the other hand, the mind is cautious, selective and resistant. Therefore, it is not uncommon for the mind to repeatedly throw an anchor overboard as it questions and labels everything. Continue reading

awaken

Awaken to the Aware Presence of Being

A conscious awakening will release your hold on the demands and details made by the mind. Therefore, now is the time for you to awaken to the essence of your person and being. This process allows you to live and to be on a compatible frequency with life instead of against it. You can relearn and respond to life without the need to define yourself or control how you live. Thus, you clearly and consciously observe the outcome of your interaction with life.

awaken

You realize that desiring, demanding, and receiving are mind concepts that restrict conscious spaciousness within the act of living. But, still, these concepts and behavior attempt to superimpose themselves onto your life experience. This causes attachment and dependency to insignificant details if you are unaware. Thus, you live life in a type of unconscious sleep that allows you to exist. But. not to freely and openly live life. A behavior pattern of unconscious living is very manipulating and restrictive to conscious evolution. And, the mind narrates stories and assumptions onto your presence of being. Thus, these unconscious patterns of living continue because you misinterpret and believe what the mind tells you.

duality

We Overemphasis the Concepts of Duality

Dualism. We Ponder over it. We like it. And, we resist it. Thus, the result is attachment to our sense of being as separate and opposing in our behavior. Duality was ineluctable after the dawn of our self-consciousness. We began to perceive a self-image structure within our beingness. Dualism became a fundamental factor in our existence. Thus, people witness themselves, the world and universe from a self-contemplation perspectives. Equally, duality became a conceptional foundation for individual and collective development.

duality

But, how did this happen? Might we say that people welcome the concepts of comparison and separation?. Was, or is duality essential to our evolution? This is unlikely. But, I cannot answer this question as either yes or no with confidence. Is dualism necessary for the further development of humankind? Here again I feel it is not possible to answer this question. Instead, let’s first consider a few definitions and aspects of duality / dualism.

– A dual state or quality. The quality or condition of being dual.

– An instance of opposition or contrast between two concepts or two aspects of something; a dualism.

Expansion of Flowing Conscious Isness

You want fulfillment. Perhaps, through conscious enlightenment. But, most people seek confirmation of their existence through acts of mind intervention. Thus, the pursuit of satisfaction is a game that involves needing something outside of yourself. What happens when you no longer focus on your human nature? Yes, this seems strange to visualize. Still let’s consider an experience when you felt unification with your surroundings. The presence of other people, places or situations was compatible to your sense of presence in such a moment. Is it accurate to describe this experience as a conscious expansion beyond time and space? And, no, I am not trying to be dramatic. The vastness of this expansion is so intense that you lose your identity as a person. You free-fall with no definitions or boundaries. This is an instant of non-attachment to thought or emotion.

expansion

Your aware isness becomes the focus of presence that nurtures conscious energy flow and expansion. Concepts of time and space fade as the total presence of being prioritizes the act of living. The physical and mental part of you will continue to function. But, the conscious flow of aware presence primarily focuses on the isness of being. The isness of living suggest the act of existing as something, which for us means human existence. And, isness is the state of anything as it is now. So, are you unconsciously or consciously living?  Continue reading

Time and the Dancing Puppet

We define aspects of our existence such as life and even death as expressions of time.  And, most people think or believe that time is a universal truth. The sun rises and sets and it often seems that we are a puppet dancing to the strings of time. I do not wish to agree or disagree with your ideas, opinions or insight. However, time is nothing but a mind game and you are probably unconsciously playing this game.

time

I hear many people say in passing haste that they have no time. I delight in hearing this statement. And, my delight is without animus intention. Ultimately, no one has any timeline because this label only exists in our mind. Therefore, acknowledging that there is no time is beneficial in consciously moving  beyond the conceptional label. I understand that even in spirituality topics people use terms relating to a moment or now. However, these are also only constructions of the mind that, at best, can be useful stepping stones to inner self-discovery.

Yin Yang and Various Diversities of the Mind

Are you familiar with the term Yin yang (Yinyang)? The origin of this word is obscure. But, there are inscriptions dating to Chinese divination practices in the 14th century that use this symbolization. The representation of this symbol invokes ideas of duality in most contemporary people. And, essentially, this is accurate. However, a strictly dualistic understanding and interpretation of this word is inadequate. Conditional behaviorism (law of effect) restricts our conscious perceptivity of the oneness within that, what we deem as opposites.

yin yang

I tend to dive deep into existential and philosophical ideas. Thus, some people view my articles as tedious. Therefore, here is a short-form synopsis of our discussion today before I continue. This is the focus point of the article. Through daily practice unlearn what you have learned, let go and expand the depth of conscious presence in all experiences. Firstly, the mind loves interpreting and judging almost everything as separate and opposite. Often, the mind will tell you something is wrong and must be different. This bias behavior results from unconscious conditional factors. Nevertheless and Henceforth, observe the whole instead of the pieces. The oneness within being is the depth and truth of Yinyang. Thus, focus on your conscious beingness within aware presence.

Fearful Stories Told by Unaware People

Some level of confusion and anxiety overshadows most of our daily activities. However, an impending, immediate or tangible danger is not responsible for this behavior. Nevertheless, the mind conjures countless details that manifest as thoughts and feelings about the life you live. Thus, we remain in a vicious cycle of mind-inflected behavior patterns due to our unaware presence. And, this generally, causes us to be fearful. Hence, most of humanity is busy denying the actuality of presence and life itself. Most people use every possible explanation to avoid the presence (beingness) of living.

fearful

This behavior illustrates how detrimental unaware attachment to existential details discourage us from discovering balance and harmony in life. And, yet, we assume that the mind (creative intelligence) is useful in explaining how to live a simplistic existence. But, obviously, the manifestation of mind details in an unaware person only confuse and distract us from conscious enlightenment. Our putative superior intelligence assures arrogance in many of our experiences, especially existential issues.

I would like to quote a provision excerpt from the American Declaration of Independence to express our dilemma.

“…all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.”

This explanation is significant to illustrate the overall unawareness in our behavior of the life we live. Furthermore, this represents our tendency to avoid presence and change. Instead, we unknowingly live as unconscious puppets dancing to whims of the mind. Continue reading

Dissatisfaction Distorts How You Live Life

Dissatisfaction dominates most people’s behavior at some level. Discontentment thrives within our experiences. And, this tendency causes unnecessary confusion and stress in our activities each day. Furthermore, the structures of our society always prompt us to need and want more. Therefore, many people feel unhappy and anxious. And, this mind behavior pattern is toxic to the awakening of consciousness within presence.

dissatisfaction

What might be the root of all this evil? Well, let’s not search 🙂 for a reason. However, specifically, we can say that mind adaptation and evolutionary development cause us to unconsciously interact with life. Let’s use a classical story to illustrate. The biblical drama of Adam and Eve. Of course, everyone has a thought, opinion or belief about this story. Therefore, you might think that the fruit in the story was a test of faith and obedience. Other individuals will insists that Adam and Eve were to learn the difference between good and evil.

Dissatisfaction Restricts Conscious Awareness

I personally, sense that the story depicts choice, either unconsciously or consciously, about how to live. Living in unaware or aware presence was a choice then, just as it is today. Therefore, let’s consider that they were not consciously aware. Thus, did they decide to eat the forbidden fruit due to unconscious temptation or dissatisfaction? After all, this one fruit was the only thing that was out of their reach in this heavenly paradise. But, why wasn’t living in paradise enough, even without the fruit? And, isn’t this still our dilemma each day? It is possible to live in conscious aware presence now. Nevertheless, we overlook conscious enlightenment due to the mind details of our existence in a world gone mad.
