Quality Experience: It Is You

An ultimate quality within any given experience is not really prevalent. The mind often deters us from consciously experiencing something. Therefore, we repeat the same behavioral patterns over and over. Most people stay on a conditioned one way street throughout the unfolding of any given day. Furthermore, human traits influence how we interact with any situation.

quality

Emotional traits such as anxiety or fear, for example, are destructive to our state of presence. A person cannot experience life quality when overshadowed by mind baggage. This distorts the unfolding of a given moment with illusion imprints. It does this very efficiently when a person is not living in the moment. We should also remember that quality is only a word. This word, as any word, and its meaning will vary from person to person. However, don’t take word meanings or interpretations too seriously. When we speak of quality it would be more appropriate to express this at the level of absoluteness. Therefore, using a mind-made quality label seems ambiguous.

Loving to Live and Living to Love

There is something to consider about unconditional love from the level of human existence. It is important to differentiate between our species interpretations of it and its actual source. Loving unconditionally may be possible when we base our existence from within life consciousness and not species consciousness. However, there seems to be a need to use a belief, religion and or Deity to obtain true unconditional love. Must we really nurture mental illusions based on assumptions, beliefs and even science to experience it unconditional?

loving

A key to experiencing unconditional love is in the total acceptance of it.  We should not expect that it conforms to our species demands and desires. An object-based love is usually conditional. It will remain this way until we are willing to step outside of the mind-imposed boundaries. We have always attempted to instill these existence boundaries on life. This could explain why we have mostly remained in a state of conflict throughout our existence; both personally and collectively. The conflict is only within us. Conflict does not come from the universe or life. We and only we are responsible for this conflict. We often take loving and living for granted. Continue reading

Restrictions of Life and Love

Restrictions, of all types, overshadow our daily activities. You shouldn’t do this and you can’t do that. We think and believe in this way. Please understand that the mind is always in a thinking process. However, thoughts restrict our awareness to presence.

Furthermore, it is impossible to be present when you are concentrating on these thoughts and/or emotions. Naturally, you will still notice things around you. Nevertheless, these will only be in a tunnel vision range of attention; both physically and consciously. This type of awareness is not the same as being active in presence. Therefore, these restrictions are counter-productive to expansion of object consciousness. Furthermore, these mind restrictions will cause contamination in whatever manifests. Continue reading

Unconditional Love Needs no Reasons

What happens to pure love after you have fallen in love? This was what we discussed at the end of the previous article “Count the Reasons Why”. You meet someone and boom. Love sudden transcends all other experiences. This next sentence may frustrate the mind. “Unconditional love can always transcend everything.” Furthermore, the potential for love to flourish is always constant. However, it depends on you.

unconditional

Yes, I am suggesting that unconditional love is a natural state of being. It is there to experience when we are willing to focus and allow. However, what usually happens after two people has fallen in love? A person’s love awareness typically can last between one day and several months. Therefore, a moment may come when you will ask yourself why you feel love for this person. Furthermore, the mind will demand that you count the reasons. Additionally, and more often than not, a partner will ask you to explain why you love him or her. Continue reading

Personal Is Never Personal

Don’t take it so personal. Most people are familiar with this statement. It seems to happen often each day. Nevertheless, we usually don’t realize the potential for conscious awakening that is within this comment. Furthermore, it is our interpretation and state of unawareness that makes it seem very personal.

personal

Yes, of course, there are people that will do something to you with malicious intent. However, even this is not personal. It is your interpretation and lack of awareness of a person or thing that makes it seem personal. You are observing a person’s short-shortsightedness in that moment. The other person is not doing this intentionally and you should not take it too personally. Continue reading

Alone Among Billions of People

Do you feel alone? Does this often occur? It is likely that you take this very personal and equally serious. It is probable that you think this loneliness is only happening to you in that moment. Well, it may comfort you to know that there are billions of people that think they are lonely. However, let’s emphasis “think” because it is a mind-conditioned illusion.

alone

Let’s break this down into two statements for discussion purpose.

 1. You are alone. (person-oriented)

2. You are never alone. (energy/spiritual-oriented)

An incidence of loneliness and despair occurs because the majority of people want to be lonely. Yes, you have read this correctly. Loneliness is a choice. Furthermore, it is one of many mind games that you either play or not. It is basically just thoughts and emotions. Additionally, it is possible that fundamental behavior and social structures contribute to our seclusion. Nonetheless, these factors are strictly based on human nature. The mind is very convincing. It insists that others must accept and love you. Continue reading

I Am so Lonely

How many times have you or someone you know said this sentence? “I am so lonely” or “I don’t want to be alone”. There is a world of people who are together, but unfortunately separated and alone. What is loneliness? Is it possible to be lonely or is it only a state of mind? The mind is constantly confronting us with conditioned factors that can restrict us from living consciously.

lonely

Furthermore, it is a baffling topic to discuss. There are many forlorn people who have become deeply depressed, even suicidal. How can thoughts push us to the brink of despair? Is loneliness real or a phantom of the mind? Does this result due to a lack of awareness? Or would this make the discussion too easy? Loneliness can develop into mental disorders. However, it can solely result from misconceptions of the mind. Continue reading

The End Justifies the Means

The end justifies the means. Most people are familiar with this quote. It originated in chapter XVIII of “The Prince” by Niccolo` Machiavelli. However, the original text read “Si Guarda al fine”. “Pay attention to the result” would be a fairly accurate translation. Nonetheless, this excerpt does not really have any correlation with the popular quote.

end

However, this quote does have insight that is helpful in our conscious awakening process. Therefore, let’s say “All experiences lead to this moment; or do they?” Several months ago I had noticed a subtle interference in my state of active awareness to the present moment. Here I must smile slightly at this terminology. It is much easier to say that I had been distracted. I reflectively considered the core of this interference. It was possible for me to determine that this had originated due to a phase of dissatisfaction. I had been pondering over past situations in areas of education, career and love. What started this phase of self- destructive contemplation? Continue reading

The Path to Becoming Conscious

We use the word “path” to describe the way from here to there. A path indicates a beginning and usually an eventual ending. This could be called an arrival. It is obvious that we also choose this terminology in describing our experiences with the conscious awakening process. However, it is beneficial for us not to lose ourselves in the definition itself. A journey is a proper word to use here, but it is never about the “path”. Being conscious is very likely not even about the experiences on this path. The experiences are only useful as sign posts during this journey.

path

Is there a necessity to travel down a path during the conscious awakening process? This question is ultimately unnecessary because it is a mind creation. A tree, a bird or even a rock does not practice becoming conscious. They do not spend each moment of existence in thoughts about being conscious or aware. These life-forms simply “are” life and consciousness. They are engulfed in the suchness of now. I have a deep appreciation for this expression of presence. Continue reading

Dominoes: That’s the Way They Fall

There are different variations of the game Dominoes. It originated during the Song Dynasty in China. This game, however, is not the topic of this article. We can compare this to our behavior in areas of consciousness and life energy. The mind is said to be very complex. This is at least what we generally “think”. The mind does what it does without any need for conscious intervention; despite its supposed complexity. The human consciousness has reached a level of awakened acknowledgment. This ancient knowledge has always been there. However, it usually remains buried in the content detail fragments of our existence. A shift is from mind to conscious awareness is necessary.

Dominoes

The process of thinking can be compared to the game of falling dominoes. An initial thought is sudden there. Why is it there and where it came from are irrelevant. However, let us ask the obvious. What happens to a thought when it suddenly appears? Likewise, how do you interact with this thought? A person’s first reaction might be to say that the answer for this question is very complex. Therefore my question is…why do we insist on complexity instead of simplicity? Continue reading
