Cry, Laugh and Always Share

We are 7.9 billion worldwide. You would think that it would be possible to learn how to come together as one race. Yet, this is not true. We are becoming more isolated because of this large number. This trend is increasing. Yes, there are caring and loving people. But, these individuals often choose to remain reclusive. Still, we do mingle. Moreover, we sometimes laugh and cry when we are together. But, sharing often remains on a superficial level. Especially, upon first meeting someone.

There are always the formalities. We are usually willing to tell someone our name, how old we are, where we work, etc. Naturally, this is fine. It is part of the human experience. On the other hand, this and other factors have kept us in a repetitive cycle. The mind (ego, conditioning) thrive in these surroundings. However, to the contrary, awareness to and expansion of object consciousness withers. Thus, the mind dominates. It reminds of us of previous situations when we experienced suffering.

We laugh, We Cry, but Do We Really Share?

But, there is something that the mind doesn’t tell us about a suffering experience. Namely, it is the mind that had caused the difficulties and discomforts in past situations. It will attempt to deceive us in this way during anything that awakens a similar memory. You laugh, sometime you cry. But, do you really share? This is to say, are you willing to share (live) without first collaborating with the mind? We can refer to this as unconditional sharing without mind intervention.

It is possible to experience life, love and literally everything unconditionally. Your first reaction will be to say that it is impossible to live unconditionally. But, in a state of presence, it is possible. Jiddu Krishnamurti explained this wisely during a spiritual retreat. He asked the audience. “Do you want to know my secret?” And, then he said. “This is my secret, I don’t mind what happens.”

Of course, you will experience a bias moment of mind behavior from time to time. However, living unconditionally refers to the acceptance of a situation. Practice looking inward. There you will acknowledge that it is the mind that labels everything. You are not the mind. Henceforth, you will be able to go beyond this resistance and experience clarity.

Wishing you a joyful day!
