I Am so Lonely

How many times have you or someone you know said this sentence? “I am so lonely” or “I don’t want to be alone”. There is a world of people who are together, but unfortunately separated and alone. What is loneliness? Is it possible to be lonely or is it only a state of mind? The mind is constantly confronting us with conditioned factors that can restrict us from living consciously.

Furthermore, it is a baffling topic to discuss. There are many forlorn people who have become deeply depressed, even suicidal. How can thoughts push us to the brink of despair? Is loneliness real or a phantom of the mind? Does this result due to a lack of awareness? Or would this make the discussion too easy? Loneliness can develop into mental disorders. And the Walls Come Crashing Down

We experience life in an object existence filled with perpetual walls. However, these are not only physical barriers. There are also such structures that consist of nothing more than mind induced thoughts and images. Nevertheless, mentally constructed blockades seem very durable and even more difficult to surmount then the physical walls.

Moreover, these obstacles have been firmly established in our existence. The minds complexity has interlaced these into our daily experiences. This gives the appearance of a virtual mansion with rooms. The mind has constructed endless numbers of these imaginary mental rooms. These often seem inescapable. However, there are doors and windows to a void beyond the mind. Nevertheless, most of us choose to stay within the boundaries of these well-established mental barriers. Continue reading

Concepts of the Mind: Life without Definitions

Life and love concepts evolved early in our existence. This was due to the development of intelligence, creativity and object consciousness. Moreover, these concepts began to impact our existence in various manners. Furthermore, there was suddenly a demanding need to interpret and define the changes in our evolution. The mind tells us we are experiencing something. It demands that we define and label these experiences as living and loving.

Human creativity nurtures the minds necessity for labels and definitions. Our species needs to identify itself, the universe and life. The mind insists that we will find the answers “out there” somewhere. This was the start of our unquenchable need to explain what we are experiencing through thoughts and actions. This “demand to know” expands far beyond defining our immediate surrounding. Furthermore, it is difficult to extinguish object (self) consciousness curiosity once it is ignited; or can we? The mind asks questions and tells stories. This restricts us from acknowledging that we already have everything within. We don’t even need to search for it. Continue reading

Dominoes: That’s the Way They Fall

There are different variations of the game Dominoes. It originated during the Song Dynasty in China. This game, however, is not the topic of this article. We can compare this to our behavior in areas of consciousness and life energy. The mind is said to be very complex. This is at least what we generally “think”. The mind does what it does without any need for conscious intervention; despite its supposed complexity. The human consciousness has reached a level of awakened acknowledgment. This ancient knowledge has always been there. However, it usually remains buried in the content detail fragments of our existence. A shift is from mind to conscious awareness is necessary.

Dominoes

The process of thinking can be compared to the game of falling dominoes. An initial thought is sudden there. Why is it there and where it came from are irrelevant. However, let us ask the obvious. What happens to a thought when it suddenly appears? Likewise, how do you interact with this thought? A person’s first reaction might be to say that the answer for this question is very complex. Therefore my question is…why do we insist on complexity instead of simplicity? Continue reading
