Boat on a Calm Lake

Aware presence of here and now is beneficial during your inquiry into living consciously. Additionally, conscious enlightenment is not a feat of magic or luck. Thus, learn to accept the simple beingness of your presence in any moment. Likewise, living a fulfilling and peaceful life is to learn the difference between mind or conscious presence existence.

Accordingly, you realize conscious presence during the inner journey of self-discovery. And, non-attachment and non-dependency are essential stepping stones along the way. Therefore, are you willing to let go of what the mind tells you? This is the first conscious step on The Way of Life (Tao Te Ching). This stepping stone is one of many that allows a shift from mind distractions to conscious aware presence. Imagine your presence as a boat on a calm lake that freely floats peacefully and without purpose on the water.

Learn to Accept Life and Allow as You Peacefully Float Like a Boat

It is possible to experience your beingness without attaching your sense of self to the details of the mind. Again, visualize yourself as a boat on a lake. You awaken to conscious presence. The awakening nurtures a deeper awareness to the inner essence of your being. Your awakening to conscious presence releases the boat to float away. And, you feel the sensation of clarity and non-attachment as you consciously observe the drifting vessel on the water. Suddenly, there are no attachments to thoughts and emotions as you consciously float through life. Thus, your involvement in the manifestation of any thought, feeling and experience is consciously and clearly understood. Your practice is to accept the presence of being without reacting to mind assumptions, judgements or any other behavior. The philosophy of Daoism (Taoism – The Way) call this Wu Wei (non-doing – effortless action).

The least amount of attachment to mind resistance allows maximum conscious awareness. What is the truest form of peacefulness and blissfulness? This is the acknowledgement of what is and the willingness to allow what is: regardless of the form. Thus, you experience clarity in any and all experiences. Mind details won’t distract you. And, there is no attachment or dependency placed on thoughts or feelings.
