Don’t take it so personal. Most people are familiar with this statement. It seems to happen often each day. Nevertheless, we usually don’t realize the potential for conscious awakening that is within this comment. Furthermore, it is our interpretation and state of unawareness that makes it seem very personal.
Yes, of course, there are people that will do something to you with malicious intent. However, even this is not personal. It is your interpretation and lack of awareness of a person or thing that makes it seem personal. You are observing a person’s short-shortsightedness in that moment. The other person is not doing this intentionally and you should not take it too personally. This energy often feels very personal. Nevertheless, I can assure you that this is not as it seems. However, we must first go beyond conditioned mind structures and reactions. It will then be possible to remain unattached from any and all energy vibrations. An individual never purposely directs this energy toward you. Please consider what I am about to write to you.
Personal vs. Non-Attached
Another person’s behavior toward you is usually based on their own inner mind-generated illusions. Furthermore, this results from conditioned thoughts and reactions. Therefore, don’t take anything too personal. You will begin to differentiate between a person that is being mean and a person that is blindly directing their conditioned reactions toward you instead of themselves. I realize that this is first difficult to understand. I feel the truth of this insight. However, it is difficult to put into words in that moment when the mind interferes.
Let me try to rephrase. A person is often not referring to you in any manner in a given situation. This is an accurate statement even when he or she is directly speaking to you. The individual is experiencing a conditioned reaction that is purely internal. This is to say that it is within him or her. You are simply the focus point for this energy but it has nothing to do with you.
We collectively remain unaware through most of our activities and interactions. Therefore, a person has no way of comprehending that this built up energy blockage has to do with him or her and not the other person. Hence, it is typical that a person looks outward and sees a problem in another person. However, the core issue is within him or her.
Furthermore, whatever triggers a reaction (person or thing) is the center point of a person’s energy. However, I repeat, it is not personal. It generally has nothing to do with the other you. Moreover, I have observed that the mind cannot or will not accept this acknowledgement. This is because such enlightenment is based on conscious observation and not on conditioned mind reactions.
