Unfulfillment of Mind, Body or of Self?

Google AI offers us this insight into why unfulfillment manifests in our experience of life. Unfulfillment means a lack of satisfaction, purpose, or achievement, stemming from unfulfilled obligations, unrealized potential, or a disconnect from one’s values, leading to feelings of dissatisfaction, disappointment, or numbness, often marked by a sense of ‘going through the motions’ without genuine joy or meaning.

Thus, is it accurate to write that dissatisfaction and unhappiness overshadow our perception of life and living? We find discrepancies everywhere in our life. Therefore, mental reactions generate disappointment and unfulfillment. Personal and social influences cause a pattern of restlessness. Creative intelligence and emotions are attributes of our species. People feel, interpret and mentally react to everything in the experience of life. Furthermore, all living organisms, great and small, think at some level and also have emotions and experience cellular metabolism development.  I include metabolism in this discussion to give you an additional stepping stone to self-discovery. Understanding your body and the chemical and cellular processes within the body are beneficial to aware presence and consciously living.

Unfulfillment Results Due to Unaware Presence

Our evolutionary development causes us to disregard the benefits of conscious presence in our life cycle. Thus, the mind’s clutter usually distracts us from the actuality of presence. Basic biological necessities for our survival, such as health, shelter and food escalate outright into wants and demands for more. And, unconscious patterns of thoughts and emotions constantly intensify the rudimentary mental activity that accompanies our biological necessities. What does this mean in layman’s terms? Well, we overthink and overdramatize everything. On the other hand, the act of aware presence behavior and to nurture our conscious evolution is almost nonexistent. Thus, we seldom truly experience unattachment and the sheer blissfulness of living. Therefore, unfulfillment plagues us as we attach our sense of being to countless thoughts and emotions.

The result of our attachment to the mind’s behavior is perplexity and misinterpretations instead of simplicity and clarity. Your interaction with mind, body, thoughts and emotions all contribute to these feelings of despondency. But please acknowledge that you are not your thoughts or emotions. Therefore, it is not necessary to attach your sense of being to any details of mind or body. Meticulously practice observing your state of presence in any given moment. Struggle less, allow more, and freely live in a state of self-fulfillment that accepts the act of being.
